The railway station at Numata - simple and efficient

In bigger cities, it is not always easy to find a suitable place to sleep....Here I am in one of Niigata's Western parks very near
to the beach - before my journey over to the island of Sadogashima. The tent was erected at about 22.00 when it was already dark
By 07.00 the following morning I was already on my way ...

I'm not in a hurry and take the comfortable ferry. On the return trip there's even a free traditional theatre-performance

Arrival in Ryotsu in wonderful weather. Unfortunately that soon changes
